The modules adhere to the ProChannel’s flexible file management system, allowing any combination of VKFX to be loaded and saved for future recall. All parameters can be automated and assigned to MIDI controllers, and all rates and times can be synchronized to the tempo of the DAW, if preferred. Modules can be easily rearranged by dragging to reorder inside the ProChannel. In addition to the sound of the Overloud VKFX modules, they are also efficient on CPU load. You can import them into Cubase, but again no synth settings/plugins/automation etc. MusicXML only exports from the staff view MIDI tracks. May be a limit to the OMF export support, or maybe its a limit on Cubases import. What Ive traditionally done is then load the project with no plug-ins at all. Doesnt keep the volume audiomation on clips (fades/etc)/edits/etc. If you hold down Shift when you click Open on any project youll be prompted to load plug-ins in safe mode. The effects are tailored for keyboards, but are well-suited for any musician, producer or mixing engineer needing to add an array of effects to audio tracks. You can try launching the older projects in safe mode. Still fantastic for working with old MIDI modules.

Overloud VKFX is a virtual rack of individual effect modules which can be inserted into SONAR’s ProChannel. Technically, I started with Cakewalk Pro Audio 9, but I do have my SONAR 8.5 installation files still.
